About the Role

Health Association Nova Scotia is partnering with the Department of Seniors and Long-term Care to provide recruitment support to facilities across Nova Scotia.

Responsibilities
  • Long-term Care: Provide safe, compassionate, and competent care to residents, administering direct nursing care and planning resident care in consultation with the multidisciplinary care team.
  • Medication Administration: Administer and record prescribed medication as required.
Home Care Services
  • Specialized Care: Provide diabetes management, dialysis, IV medications, palliative care, phlebotomy, and wound care services to patients in their homes and community settings.
Requirements
  • Current licensure (or eligibility for licensure) with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses.
