Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Fastfrate Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services across our network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the arrival and departure of drivers at our terminal, ensuring timely and efficient processing of shipments.
  • Route, stamp, and enter all shipments that arrive at the terminal, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare linehaul trips and manifests for all carriers departing the terminal, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Perform various clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Maintain and follow Canada's Dangerous Goods regulations for all means of transportation, ensuring the safety of our employees, customers, and the environment.
  • Perform other duties as required, supporting the overall success of our operations team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in transportation or logistics.
  • Bilingual in French and English, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong computer literacy, including MS Office, and ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Ability to organize, schedule, and follow instructions, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of transportation and container industry regulations and best practices, a plus.
