Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Delivery Drivers: Oversee the daily activities of our delivery drivers, ensuring they are aware of their routes, schedules, and delivery requirements.
  • Monitor and Improve Operations: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize delivery routes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to our delivery drivers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment for our delivery drivers and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate Repairs and Rentals: Arrange for repairs and rentals of vehicles as needed to ensure our delivery drivers have the necessary equipment to perform their duties.
  • Requisition Materials and Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of materials and supplies required for our delivery operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a transportation or logistics environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, and organizational skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Hours of Work: 32 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language of Work: English.
  • Duration of Employment: Permanent.
