Microsoft 365 Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Analyst to join our team at McCain Foods. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and strategic guidance for the various workloads, including license management and optimization, in the Microsoft 365 platform and related Microsoft technologies.

• Evaluate, develop, and implement enterprise-wide collaboration and productivity solutions based on the Microsoft 365 platform and related Microsoft technologies.
• Provide SME support to the day-to-day support teams for Microsoft 365 (internal and third party support groups).
• Seek continuous improvement opportunities for license optimization in the environment.
• Execute on Microsoft 365 release management activities from the product backlog.
• Consult with business and IT groups on various use cases and solutions to business challenges that can be solved with Microsoft 365.
• Drive adoption of Microsoft 365 workloads for ROI.

• Strong knowledge of productivity applications, especially within the Microsoft 365 suite, including Microsoft 365 licensing, Microsoft Entra, Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS), Exchange, Office 365, Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint/Cloud Apps/Identity/Office 365, and Microsoft Purview.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10) and excellent Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge and competence in operating in an Enterprise ITIL environment.
• Working knowledge of agile methodologies such as scrum and sprints.

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in a technical program for IT infrastructure management coupled with 2 – 3 years' experience operating in an Enterprise IT environment.
• Prior experience managing Windows PCs and Office 365, preferably capable of attaining Microsoft accreditations.

• Internal: Departmental Management, Workplace Services Team Members, Regional Support Specialists and Partners, IT Service Managers, and Deployment Analyst.
• External: Microsoft, Microsoft Solution Partners, and Vendor Partner.
