Your Opportunity

Our Peterborough office is seeking a Junior Accountant to join the Assurance team, bringing their technical knowledge and skills to carry out work projects and assignments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing technical expertise to prepare and complete working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements per regulatory standards
  • Gathering evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements
  • Building positive working relationships with clients and effectively responding to requests and suggestions
  • Participating in business development initiatives and identifying new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Communicating effectively with team members regarding progress updates and issues

Your Experience and Education

We are seeking candidates who have completed their undergraduate degree or diploma and the necessary CPA pre-requisites. You will have a desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork, proven leadership skills, and strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
