We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Assembler to join our team at 1687787 Alberta Ltd. as part of our furniture production process.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Finishing: Assemble wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail.
- Woodworking: Prepare, sand, and trim wooden furniture and fixture parts, applying toners, highlights, glazes, or shaders to obtain desired finishes.
- Quality Control: Record information on products inspected and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintenance and Repair: Make minor adjustments and repairs to furniture, and clean, polish, and wax furniture to maintain its appearance.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with exposure to dust and noise.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience in woodworking, furniture assembly, and finishing is an asset.
- Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and maintain attention to detail.
- Gasoline Paid: Employees will have their gasoline expenses reimbursed.
- Work Term: Temporary work arrangement.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
