As a Staff Accountant with Baker Tilly, you will play a key role in our team, working closely with our clients to provide expert financial guidance and support. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements for clients in various industries and non-profit organizations
  • Examining and analyzing client accounting and financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and procedures
  • Preparing tax returns, including T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, and GST/HST
  • Participating in special projects and identifying new sales and service opportunities for clients

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university or college business degree or diploma
  • The ability to consistently meet deadlines and work efficiently
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
  • An attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • High ethical standards and a strong work ethic
