Are you dedicated to enhancing the lives of others and contributing to a supportive environment? The role of an Unregulated Care Provider is vital in our communities, fostering meaningful connections with residents.

As a UCP, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Accurately maintaining resident documentation and records in compliance with established policies and legal standards.
  2. Administering prescribed medications and monitoring residents' health changes, promptly reporting any concerns to the Director of Wellness.
  3. Documenting and reporting any incidents, health issues, or concerns regarding residents to the appropriate management personnel.
  4. Offering support and direction to Guest Attendants to ensure that care tasks are executed effectively and that any changes in residents' needs are communicated to the Director of Wellness.
  5. Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for residents by adhering to infection control protocols.
  6. Carrying out additional responsibilities as required.

Essential Qualifications

  1. Completion of a Personal Service Worker certificate program.
  2. Successful completion of on-site Medication Administration training and ongoing competency evaluations.
  3. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  4. Current certification in CPR.
  5. Experience in senior care and understanding of the aging process.
  6. All candidates must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Prior experience in medication administration is advantageous.
