Are you dedicated to enhancing the lives of others and contributing to a supportive environment? The role of an Unregulated Care Provider is vital in our communities, fostering meaningful connections with residents.
As a UCP, your responsibilities will include:
- Accurately maintaining resident documentation and records in compliance with established policies and legal standards.
- Administering prescribed medications and monitoring residents' health changes, promptly reporting any concerns to the Director of Wellness.
- Documenting and reporting any incidents, health issues, or concerns regarding residents to the appropriate management personnel.
- Offering support and direction to Guest Attendants to ensure that care tasks are executed effectively and that any changes in residents' needs are communicated to the Director of Wellness.
- Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for residents by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Carrying out additional responsibilities as required.
Essential Qualifications
- Completion of a Personal Service Worker certificate program.
- Successful completion of on-site Medication Administration training and ongoing competency evaluations.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Current certification in CPR.
- Experience in senior care and understanding of the aging process.
- All candidates must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in medication administration is advantageous.
