About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team at JEFO NUTRITION INC. in an industrial setting. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding and Fabrication: Interpret welding process specifications, read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, and examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Metal Fabrication: Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products, and maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all fabricated and repaired metal parts and products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma in welding technology or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, and Gas metal ARC (GMAW) (MIG), and experience with arc welding machines and soldering machines.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
