About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Labourer to join our team at BEECH NURSERY GROUP INC. as a Horticulture Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of our plants and gardens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plant Care: Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens, ensuring they receive the necessary care and attention.
  • Task Management: Apply fertilizers, weed, prune and trim trees and plants, plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees, cut grass, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Refuse Management: Rake and collect refuse, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Security and Safety: A criminal record check will be required for this position.
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will work outdoors, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
