About the Role

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Vancouver General Hospital. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently and collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary care team to provide patient care and support.
  • Perform a full scope of practical nursing functions for clients with predictable outcomes within a designated area of specialty.
  • Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses to care for clients with unpredictable outcomes or where the acuity or complexity of care requires an advanced level of knowledge and skill.
  • Maintain and advance clinical competence pursuant to the standards of practice of BCCNM for Licensed Practical Nurses.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
