POSITION SUMMARY:
The ERP Support Analyst plays a crucial role in assisting users of our Epicor ERP software by identifying, resolving, and documenting software and data-related challenges. This support includes the creation of knowledge documentation, database queries, and report generation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Address user inquiries to deliver troubleshooting assistance, guidance, and training.
  2. Engage with users and colleagues with a customer-centric approach.
  3. Keep abreast of software updates through online training resources and webinars to provide prompt and precise solutions to users.
  4. Develop and update end-user procedures and IT knowledge documents.
  5. Design and modify database queries, report templates, and low-code user interface customizations.
  6. Assess and escalate user issues to the IT Business Relationship Manager when necessary.
  7. Submit support tickets to Epicor for issues that require direct intervention from our software provider.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Comprehensive understanding of generally accepted accounting principles; strong knowledge and application of cost accounting and standard cost systems. Proficient in keyboarding and skilled in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Significant experience in the implementation and optimization of ERP systems (both hardware and software) in a manufacturing context, with familiarity in EPICOR being advantageous.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Degree/Diploma in: Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Engineering Technology, or Computer Systems Technology
Minimum of 2 years of experience utilizing Epicor software.

EXPERIENCE:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Experience in drafting procedural documents (how-to guides and flowcharts).
Background in customer/end-user support is a plus.
Familiarity with ERP software (Epicor, SAP, Oracle) is beneficial.

SPECIFIC SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities.
Customer-service orientation (patience, empathy, listening skills).
Eagerness for continuous learning (keeping updated with software advancements).
Knowledge of SSRS, JSON, C#, SQL.
Understanding of financial, manufacturing, sales, or logistics business processes.
