Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a School Social Worker at the Anglophone South School District.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide social work services to students, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and case management.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to develop and implement student support plans.
  • Conduct assessments and develop strategies to support students with diverse needs, including those with mental health concerns, behavioral challenges, and academic difficulties.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and resources to provide students with access to additional support services.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in school social work.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Experience working with students in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
