Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Signal Technician to join our team at the Canadian Armed Forces. As a Signal Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing communication systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and operate communication and information systems
  • Maintain and repair communication systems and equipment
  • Install and maintain fibre optic and copper wire systems
  • Use advanced radio equipment testing instrumentation
  • Develop specialized skills through formal military and civilian courses and on-the-job training

Requirements:

  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in Canada
  • Be at least 18 years old (17 years old with parental consent)
  • Have a strong understanding of electronics and communication systems
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
