Job Title: Landscape Worker

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Landscape Worker to join our team at M LeBlanc Lawn Care & Landscaping. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, and removing litter and garbage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and applying fertilizers.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and maintain lawn health.
  • Rake and collect refuse, and remove litter and garbage from the work site.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including backhoes, forklifts, front-end loaders, and tractor mowers.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Physically demanding role requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, and reliability are essential.
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a variety of outdoor settings, including residential and commercial properties.
  • Exposure to weather conditions, including heat, cold, and precipitation.
  • May be required to work at heights or in confined spaces.
