About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Restorative Assistant to join our team at Bridgeview Hall in Miramichi, New Brunswick. As a Restorative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents in achieving their optimal level of independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and administer individual and group physical therapy programs
  • Administer and assist residents with therapeutic intervention programs as developed by the PT and OT
  • Assist residents in ambulation, with or without an ambulatory aid, under the direction of the Physiotherapist
  • Document resident progress and respond to changes in their condition
  • Maintain equipment inventory and assist with department audits, cleaning, and inspections
About You

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to our residents. To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Restorative Assistant Diploma from an approved college or a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology or a related field
  • Current First Aid & CPR or BLS Certificate
  • Ability to provide a clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check upon hire
  • Advanced proficiency in the English language, with proficiency in French considered an asset
  • U-First training or a Dementia Care Course would be considered an asset
