Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
- Support daily operations by providing leadership and guidance to ensure efficient and effective shop operations.
- Assist in managing shop operations in alignment with our company's values and standards.
- Provide vacation coverage as required, under the direction of the regional operations manager.
- Utilize our company dashboard to accurately identify and prioritize tasks.
- Participate in daily production meetings to drive results and improve processes.
- Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Write estimates and schedules repairs as required, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Enter parts and sublet invoices into our management system, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Apply expert knowledge of insurance and fleet-specific policies and procedures to ensure compliance and optimal results.
- Support daily production, workflow, and quality control of the shop, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency.
- Walk with purpose, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and a focus on delivering exceptional results.
- Work collaboratively with the operations team and shop manager to achieve operational goals and objectives.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce effort, increasing touch time and reducing vehicle days in shop.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and guidelines, promoting consistent application within the company.
- Bring forward suggestions for training needs based on observations, ensuring continuous learning and development.
- Support company standards in SPARKLE, safety, and security, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Represent and promote the Craftsman Collision brand in a positive manner, aligned with our stated values in all dealings.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Working towards I-CAR Platinum certification, an asset.
- Strong verbal, written, and listening skills, combined with the ability to interact and gain the support of senior leadership and other decision-makers.
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated time management, problem-solving, critical thinking, and sound judgment skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service-oriented attitude.
- Proficient in Outlook and video conferencing platforms, with the ability and willingness to learn new applications.
- Demonstrated desire and aptitude for learning and development.
- Interest in vehicles and the automotive industry.
- Knowledge and proficiency in ADAS systems, vehicle calibrations, and emerging vehicle technologies, an asset.
- Must have a valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract over the last 3 years.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions.
