Position Overview

The role of a Visiting Homemaker involves providing essential support and care to clients in their homes. This position is vital for enhancing the quality of life for individuals who require assistance with daily activities.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 month and up to 7 months of relevant experience is preferred.
Work Environment
  • Optional accommodation may be available at no cost on a live-in basis; however, this is not a requirement for employment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Administer prescribed medications as directed.
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene needs.
  • Launder clothing and household linens to maintain cleanliness.
  • Mend clothing and linens as necessary.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks to ensure a tidy living environment.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Prepare and serve healthy and nutritious meals.
Safety and Security
  • A criminal record check is required for this position.
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
