About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team at Clearbridge Mobile. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient back-end solutions using Java, Springboot, and AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust back-end solutions for our clients using Java, Springboot, and AWS.
  • Write high-quality code, including stories, tests, and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide effective solutions that balance business needs and technical constraints.
  • Participate in sales meetings and provide estimates, risks, assumptions, and requirements for future opportunities.
  • Attend development meetings, design sessions, and contribute to open-source software.

Requirements:

  • Strong development and debugging skills with a deep understanding of Java in back-end contexts.
  • Proficiency in consuming and producing tested APIs.
  • Experience with relational DB design and non-relational database usage.
  • CI/CD devops skills, including AWS, Heroku, GCP, monitoring, and version control.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and take ownership of tasks.
