Position Overview

Core Drywall Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Insulation Technician to join our skilled workforce. This role involves the application of various insulation materials to enhance energy efficiency and comfort in residential and commercial buildings.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience in insulation work.
Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the appropriate type of insulation needed for specific projects.
  • Accurately measure and cut insulation materials to fit designated areas using both hand and power tools.
  • Employ various methods to apply and secure insulation, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, and taping.
  • Carefully fit insulation around structural obstructions and within joists and studs.
  • Install necessary vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials to ensure safety and compliance.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a standard work schedule of 35 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
