About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiological Technologist to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our Medical Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform Diagnostic Procedures: Conduct diagnostic radiographic and medical imaging procedures, adhering to established standards, procedures, and radiation protection practices.
  2. Operate Imaging Equipment: Operate radiographic and computerized imaging equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and quality control.
  3. Prepare Patients: Prepare patients for examination, explaining procedures and providing instructions as needed.
  4. Monitor Patient Care: Monitor patient care and safety, ensuring procedures adhere to department standards and policies.
  5. Participate in Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement and risk management procedures, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.
  6. Perform Administrative Tasks: Perform various clerical duties, including data entry and patient demographics management.
Requirements
  • Certification: Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
  • Education and Experience: Completion of a recognized medical radiation technology program and relevant work experience.
  • Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated knowledge and practice of safe work procedures, ability to perform radiographic examinations, and effective communication skills.
