We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team at Lucid Corp.

Job Summary:

The General Labourer will be responsible for performing various tasks in our warehouse, including transporting raw materials, finished products, and equipment, as well as checking and weighing materials and products. The successful candidate will also be responsible for sorting, packing, crating, and packaging materials and products, and performing other labouring and elemental activities as required.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually
  • Check and weigh materials and products
  • Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products
  • Perform other labouring and elemental activities as required
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
Requirements:
  • Criminal record check
  • Public transportation is available
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience an asset
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
  • Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees
  • Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees
  • Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
  • Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
  • Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
  • Does not require Canadian work experience
