Job Title: General Supervisor

Exalted Construction Inc. is seeking a highly skilled General Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit production reports to management
  • Resolve work-related problems and provide technical guidance to improve productivity and product quality
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Recruit and hire workers, and conduct related staffing actions
  • Train or arrange for training to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Prepare bids and estimates for projects
  • Manage company operations and make decisions to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Operate computer-aided design (CAD) and other software systems
  • Set up equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and recommend personnel actions as needed
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 32 to 40 hours of work per week
