We are seeking a skilled Fruit Farming Labourer to join our team at Royalview Orchards Limited. As a Fruit Farming Labourer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to fruit and vegetable farming, including clearing and collecting brush and debris, grading produce, and training trees to produce high-quality fruit.
Key Responsibilities- Clearing and Collecting: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
- Produce Grading: Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume to fetch high prices in the market.
- Trees Training: Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality.
- Weeding: Perform weeding tasks to maintain the health and quality of crops.
- Harvesting: Harvest crops in a timely and efficient manner.
- Cutting: Cut horticultural crops as required.
As a Fruit Farming Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, and physically demanding conditions. You will be required to work outdoors, at heights, and in wet/damp conditions. You will also be exposed to dusty and hot environments.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
- Physical Abilities: You must be physically fit and able to handle heavy loads, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Language: You must be proficient in English.
- Work Hours: You will be required to work 60 to 70 hours per week.
As a Fruit Farming Labourer at Royalview Orchards Limited, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a team of experienced professionals. You will be required to work in a rural area and will be responsible for performing various tasks related to fruit and vegetable farming.
