Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assemble mechanical units or fabricated parts to make sub-assemblies or complete products within routine and repetitive assembly operations. This role requires the use of various hand and power tools and equipment, including jigs, dies, fixtures, templates, punch presses, riveting machines, circular shears, and drill presses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble mechanical units or fabricated parts to make sub-assemblies or complete products
  • Use various hand and power tools and equipment to cut, file, fit, punch, ream, rivet, form, and/or assemble
  • Fits, aligns, calibrates, and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product requirements
  • Monitors quality of products and raw materials
  • May read simple blueprints
  • Performs simple routine maintenance and cleaning
  • Determines and corrects minor machine malfunctions
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and work under broad supervision. Press Operator, Machine Operator, Maker/Packer are typical job titles for this role.

Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
