Landscape Labourer Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Labourer to join our team at J.R. Lawn Maintenance & Snow Removal Inc. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our clients' properties look their best throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a neat and tidy appearance
  • Cut grass and perform other lawn care tasks to ensure our clients' lawns are well-manicured
  • Rake and collect refuse, and remove litter and garbage to keep our clients' properties clean
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to enhance our clients' outdoor spaces
  • Lay sod or seed to create lush, green lawns
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to add colour and beauty to our clients' properties
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the care they need
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure our team has the tools they need to get the job done
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to work as part of a team
