Position Overview

Join Akhlut Automotive LTD as an Automotive Technician Trainee. This is a permanent position offering a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week. Candidates should possess a Registered Apprenticeship certificate and have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications.

Work Environment

The role is set in a garage environment, which may be dusty and noisy. The position requires own transportation and a valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adjust, repair, or replace components of commercial transport truck systems.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to determine whether to repair or replace units.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions.
  • Perform road tests on motor vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance services and adjust systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
  • Provide detailed reports on issues encountered and work completed.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and advise clients on repairs and future maintenance needs.
Training and Development

Successful candidates will undergo Level three and Level four apprenticeship training to enhance their skills and knowledge in the automotive field.

Work Conditions

This role demands manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.

Tools and Equipment

Applicants are expected to provide their own tools and steel-toed safety boots.
