About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Specialist to join our team at G Star Homes Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials from vehicles and equipment.
  • Material Handling: Transport materials to and from construction sites, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by leveling earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Surface Preparation: Perform drywall taping and patching to ensure smooth surfaces.
  • Construction Tasks: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, as well as mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work and repair cracks and holes in construction materials.
  • Specialized Tasks: Assist in paving and raking asphalt, and level earth to fine grade specifications.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors, at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions.
  • Work Setting: Construction sites.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, flexible, reliable, and a team player.
