The Quality Assurance Project Leader is responsible for managing multiple projects of varying scales and complexities, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Project planning and execution, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Overseeing operational processes and maintaining effective communication with clients and internal teams.
- Recruiting and training Project Coordinators to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Collaborating with the Project Manager for budget formulation and resource allocation.
- Supervising the Project Coordination team in alignment with company policies and standards.
- Identifying staffing needs, training requirements, and motivational strategies for the project coordination unit.
- Evaluating project performance and customer feedback to identify areas for enhancement.
- Ensuring compliance with purchasing, inventory, and warehousing protocols.
- Preparing regular project status updates, detailing timelines, budget usage, and resolutions for any challenges encountered.
- Engaging with clients to provide updates on project developments and address any modifications in requirements.
- Responding to inquiries regarding project implementation status.
- Formulating project budgets in accordance with corporate and divisional standards.
- Monitoring project expenditures and implementing corrective measures to manage costs effectively.
- Reviewing financial documentation for accuracy and adherence to financial policies.
- Supporting project budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Conducting performance evaluations and recognizing high achievers for further development.
- Providing guidance, mentorship, and leadership to team members.
- Coordinating recruitment, training, and performance management within the project department.
A university degree in engineering, operations, or logistics is required, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in distribution, logistics, automotive, software, or consulting sectors, including substantial project management expertise.
Qualifications:- In-depth knowledge of distribution business systems and associated processes.
- Proficiency in PC-based applications for document processing, presentations, spreadsheets, and project scheduling.
- Ability to interpret relevant documents, develop procedures, prepare detailed project reports, and communicate effectively with clients and senior management.
- Commitment to adhering to all health and safety regulations as outlined in the company’s Health & Safety Manual.
- Demonstrated understanding of business policies, practices, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior executives, delivering insights and information effectively.
- Dedication to meeting and surpassing customer expectations, with a talent for building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Efficient time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
