Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cafeteria and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development, to ensure high-quality food and service.
- Food Preparation: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Administrative: Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Our cafeteria is a fast-paced environment where you will work under pressure to meet deadlines and provide exceptional customer service.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
- Permanent Full-time Position: 30 to 40 hours per week.
- English Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
