Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Heritage Asian Eatery. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Inventory Management: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Work Schedules: Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: Fluency in English.
Our kitchen and dining areas are fast-paced and dynamic, and you will be required to work under pressure to meet the demands of our customers. You will also be required to stand for extended periods and have excellent attention to detail.
Personal Suitability:- Client Focus: You will be required to provide excellent customer service and respond to customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Team Player: You will be working as part of a team, and you will be required to communicate effectively with colleagues and provide support and guidance as needed.
