Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Mechanic to join our team at Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited. As an Apprentice Mechanic, you will assist with the maintenance and upkeep of project vehicles and equipment by performing repairs and servicing vehicles under the guidance of a 310T mechanic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment to detect malfunctions or damages and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Monitor, diagnose, and repair AVL systems and electronic driver's logs.
  • Diagnose problems and vehicle operation issues and recommend changes or services.
  • Maintain daily maintenance records and prepare cost estimates for repairs and service requests.
  • Ensure all company vehicles and equipment are safe to pass inspections and comply with provincial standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • High school or second or third year apprenticeship student.
  • 1+ year experience in a related field.
  • Driver's License with a good driving record.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with routine exposure to outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and use manual and powered tools and equipment is also required.
