Position Overview

The General Manager of Cleaning Services at KIREI Cleaning & Building Maintenance Ltd. plays a crucial role in overseeing the operational aspects of our cleaning and maintenance services. This position requires a strong educational background and relevant experience to ensure the effective management of resources and personnel.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a managerial role
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and allocate resources, including materials, personnel, and finances, to execute organizational strategies and initiatives.
  • Authorize the creation of major departments and appoint senior staff members accordingly.
  • Coordinate activities across various regions, divisions, or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Set organizational objectives and either formulate or endorse policies and programs that align with these goals.
  • Act as a representative of the organization in negotiations and official functions, or delegate this responsibility to appropriate representatives.
  • Select and empower middle managers and directors, providing them with the necessary authority and creating optimal working conditions.
  • Establish financial and administrative controls, approve promotional strategies, and oversee comprehensive human resources planning.
Support InitiativesIntegration Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Facilitate the social and labor market integration of newcomers and refugees, including access to community resources and training programs.
  • Recruit individuals displaced by conflicts or natural disasters.
  • Assist with the recognition of foreign credentials for newcomers and refugees.
  • Implement mentorship programs pairing newcomers with experienced staff.
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to foster an inclusive workplace.
Support for Indigenous Peoples
  • Offer mentorship and networking opportunities for Indigenous employees.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities and organizations.
  • Deliver cultural competency training to enhance workplace inclusivity.
  • Facilitate access to Elders for guidance and support.
Support for Visible Minorities
  • Implement hiring practices that promote equity and discourage discrimination.
  • Provide mentorship programs for members of visible minorities.
  • Conduct diversity training to create a welcoming environment for all employees.
