Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at YNT Hakka. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and stored, and assisting with food preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Operate dishwashers and washing machines to clean dishes, glassware, and flatware
- Assist with food preparation, including portioning and wrapping foods
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, and polish floors
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
- Perform other tasks as required to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience an asset
- Willing to relocate
- Relocation costs covered by employer
- Physically demanding work environment
- Repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Reliability and teamwork skills
This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week. The work language is English.
