Job Summary:

The Sales Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and selling Tommy Hilfiger merchandise through the execution of the TH Customer Service Standards. This role also involves performing various operational activities as assigned by Store Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide TH Customer Service to company standard, consistently meeting customer needs and exceeding expectations.
  • Ensure the sales floor is visually appealing and well-organized, with merchandise replenished to appropriate levels.
  • Minimize shortages through proper loss prevention procedures and maintain a high level of store organization.
  • Stay aware of store sales plans and results, as well as individual contribution to business results.
  • Follow all operational policies and procedures, managing time and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and staff, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attend Take 5 meetings and participate in staff meetings as required.

Customer Service Responsibilities:

  • Generate maximum sales potential in accordance with the TH Customer Service standards, building a repeat customer base through excellent service.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of product, promotions, and special events to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Foster a positive store experience by treating all customers and staff members fairly and consistently.
  • Effectively maintain zone coverage, acknowledging every customer within the zone and prioritizing customer needs.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, managing time and prioritizing tasks.

Personal Qualities:

  • Represent the TH image through personal and professional appearance, demonstrating a professional image and conduct.
  • Be flexible to work rotating hours, as assigned by management, and communicate concerns to management.
  • Maintain respect of peer group, staff, and supervisor, creating energy and excitement around shared goals and values.
  • Support all company/management decisions and adapt to the needs of the position, undertaking night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Policies and Procedures, observing sales floor and stockroom for loss prevention and advising management of any unusual activity.
  • Execute Opening and Closing checklist duties as directed by store management to ensure the store is always ready for business.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Merchandising & Visual Responsibilities:

  • Ensure consistent and accurate replenishment of product onto the sales floor, complying with visual presentation standards.
  • Execute markdowns and re-merchandise as needed, maintaining store organization, fixtures, hardware, and general cleanliness.

Compensation:

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions on job advertisements in the province of British Columbia based on local requirements. Individual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, geographic location, and other relevant skills. PVH is committed to providing a market-competitive total rewards package to eligible associates, including a comprehensive insurance plan and RRSP-matching contributions for full-time associates.
