About the Role

GEMTEC Consulting Engineers & Scientists Limited is a dynamic and growing firm seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Structural group, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of civil infrastructure projects, including concrete, steel, and wood structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop cost-effective and practical engineering designs and construction solutions for clients.
  • Manage projects, including scheduling and financial performance.
  • Write, compile, and review technical reports.
  • Prepare project proposals and participate in site visits.
  • Maintain quality throughout projects and implement improvements when necessary.
  • Prepare regular project summary reports and contribute to the growth and development of the team.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration or eligibility.
  • Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering from an accredited University.
  • At least 10 years of experience in civil engineering consulting.
  • Hands-on experience with design software such as SAFI, Structure Point, and WoodWorks.
  • Proven project management skills.
