Position Overview:
Corus Orthodontists is in search of a Certified Dental Assistant to enhance our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive clinical care to patients in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster positive interactions with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Instruct patients on effective oral hygiene practices
  • Conduct radiographic imaging, capture photographs, and perform impressions and intraoral scans
  • Provide educational support to patients
  • Assist the Orthodontist during consultations and treatment procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness of operatories and ensure proper sterilization of instruments
  • Prepare necessary trays and brackets for bonding procedures
  • Undertake additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
  • Certified Dental Assistant with current licensure from CDSBC
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental assisting role
  • Completion of an orthodontics training module is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
