**Job Summary**

Middlesex Hospital Alliance is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

**Essential Qualifications:**

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current BCLS required
  • Demonstrated commitment to medical nursing – minimum 2 – 3 yrs. (equivalent to 1950 hrs.) of previous medical nursing experience
  • 2 – 3 years of Emergency Nursing experience (equivalent to 1950 hrs) – preferred
  • Current Triage experience preferred
  • Cardiac Care experience involving ECG monitoring and interpretation preferred
  • ACLS, TNCC, PALS preferred
  • Certificate(s) in Emergency Nursing and/or Critical Care an asset

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, making sound judgments and decisions in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education to enhance skills and knowledge

**Requirements:**

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
