Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Operations
    • Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
    • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with colleagues.
  • Logistics Coordination
    • Coordinate with dispatchers to receive and relay information, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
    • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
    • Perform emergency roadside repairs, taking prompt action to resolve any issues that may arise during transportation.
  • Certifications and Compliance
    • Hold a valid AZ class license, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including those related to driver logs, maintenance reports, and trip records.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 1 month of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • AZ class license.
    • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
    • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Language
    • Fluency in English.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, requiring a minimum of 30 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
