We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Produce Clerk to join our team at Maxi Ville-Marie. As a Produce Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized produce department, restocking shelves, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and organized produce department, including restocking shelves and rotating stock
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and assisting customers with their produce needs
- Unpack and count products received by the store, and stock shelves accordingly
- Price items using a stamp or stickers according to the price list
- Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and handle heavy loads
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding. The employee will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel. The employee will also be required to handle heavy loads and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
