About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Goldenhome Cabinetry Eastern Canada Inc. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial records and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting System Administration: Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to ensure efficient and accurate financial data management.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial documents and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
  • Financial Planning and Reporting: Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures to support business decision-making.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare income tax returns from accounting records and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Financial Advice: Provide financial, business, and tax advice to management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
