Nurse Supervisor

The successful candidate will oversee the administrative and clinical activities of the nursing department, ensuring seamless coordination and effective management of staff, beds, and emergency situations. This role will work closely with the entire organization and external partners to achieve optimal healthcare outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and direct administrative and clinical activities
- Manage staff and beds, ensuring efficient use of resources
- Develop and implement strategies to improve healthcare services
- Collaborate with external partners to enhance patient care
- Ensure compliance with professional ethical principles and organizational values
- Registration with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Minimum of five years' relevant clinical experience in the past eight years
- Two years' experience in healthcare management in a hospital setting considered an asset
- Health service management certificate or equivalent, or willingness to obtain same within set time frame
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
- Proven leadership and change management skills
- Ability to remain calm in tense situations and manage workload effectively
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Good judgment and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform assigned work
- Good work history (performance and attendance)
- Adherence to professional ethical principles and organizational values
