About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Nu-Struct Inc. as a Residential Construction Labourer. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction of residential buildings, including framing, erecting walls, and building roofs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials
  • Read Blueprints to Determine Work Requirements
  • Assist in Framing Houses, Erecting Walls, and Building Roofs
  • Assist in Demolishing Buildings
  • Clean Up Chemical Spills and Other Contaminants
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer, you will be working outdoors in various locations, including construction sites and demolition areas. You will be exposed to confined spaces, noise, and dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
  • 1 to Less Than 7 Months of Experience
Physical Demands

This role requires you to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and work in physically demanding conditions. You must be able to work overtime and meet tight deadlines.

Language and Certifications

You must be fluent in English and have asbestos abatement training.

Work Conditions

This is a permanent, on-the-road job with a 30-44 hour workweek. You will be required to work in a team environment and be a hardworking, team player.
