About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Drummond Lodge. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Additional Tasks: Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
Work Environment

As a Housekeeping Attendant at Drummond Lodge, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that our hotel rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Repetitive tasks, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, reliability, team player, honesty.
Working Conditions

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends. You will be expected to be available for shift or on-call work.
