About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Verification Engineer to join our team at Advanced Micro Devices inc. in Markham/Vancouver. As a key member of our design verification team, you will be responsible for verifying next-generation products, including PCI Express/CXL design using the latest UVM standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement test plans, testbenches, and verification components
  • Write and modify test cases and libraries in System Verilog/UVM
  • Analyze functional, code, and test plan coverage
  • Implement assertions, checkers, and monitors
  • Utilize in-house and 3rd party IP/SOC CAD and EDA tools for design verification
  • Deploy industry-leading verification methodologies such as UVM and Formal Verification
  • Triage and debug regressions
  • Reproduce functional bugs found in silicon in simulation and/or formal verification tools
  • Conduct and participate in code reviews

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of digital design in RTL, Verilog HDL, and testbench architecture
  • Experience with System Verilog, OVM/UVM/VMM, and C/C++ programming languages
  • Familiarity with VCS, NCSIM, Questa, and other simulator and associated waveform viewers
  • Knowledge of PC system architecture, on-chip bus interfaces, and architectures
