Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cardiopulmonary Technologist to join our Ambulatory Care Department at Headwaters Health Care Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) and related procedures
  • Assist with patient billing and preliminary interpretation
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and records
  • Care for equipment and instruments
Requirements
  • Registered with the Canadian Association of Cardio-Pulmonary Technologists (CACPT)
  • Equivalent regulated Health Professional experience
  • BCLS certification
  • Certified respiratory educator certificate (preferred)
  • 2-5 years of recent PFT experience
  • Ability to assist patients with transfers
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Effective organizational and prioritization skills
  • Superior problem identification and solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with accuracy and efficiency
  • Interest in continuing education
  • Willingness to take on projects
  • Computer skills in Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Appropriate lifting techniques
  • Acceptable performance and attendance records
