Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Benefits Consultant to join our team at People Corporation. As a key member of our Enterprise team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our clients and prospects in relation to their group benefits programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our Enterprise team to manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities related to employee benefits, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services to clients and prospects.
  • Provide technical and analytical support to our clients, including reviewing plan performance, experience reporting, and assisting in flex pricing exercises.
  • Prepare market specifications for clients using both internal and external quoting systems, and analyze data and multiple carrier proposals to make recommendations related to the best option for the client.
  • Perform ad hoc investigations of claims data to explain trends to consultants/account managers, and gather necessary data and perform analysis of estimated cost impact of plan design alterations for self-insured clients.
  • Prepare client renewal reporting and reviews, including negotiations with insurers and completing the renewal cycle with reporting and commentary.
  • Prepare ad hoc presentations, reports, and proposals as requested by clients and prospects, and provide technical and peer review work for analysts and other associates.
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth execution and implementation of benefit programs.
  • Prepare documents for client presentation, meet in person to deliver client information, and support working relationships with Plan Sponsors, Plan Administrators, and Representatives.
  • Develop and maintain positive rapport and relationships with carriers, Account Leaders, and other client stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws, regulations, and best practices related to employee benefits, and track ongoing work, update workflow systems regularly and as necessary.
  • Provide mentorship and training to Enterprise Benefits Specialists and Enterprise Analysts as needed, and coordinate and organize sales events in collaboration with the broader team.

Requirements

  • 2-3yrs+ Experience working in Group Benefits.
  • Experience preparing client renewal reporting and reviews, including negotiations with insurers and completing the renewal cycle with reporting and commentary.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Life License (LLQP) is considered an asset.
