The Role:

We are looking for professionals in the Greater Toronto/Mississauga Area who are open to a hybrid work schedule. We welcome candidates ranging from experienced Associates eager to elevate their skills to established Director-level professionals seeking to redirect their expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee or assist in client projects by gathering and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Conduct thorough investigations to validate allegations using established investigative methods and cutting-edge technology.
  • Maintain consistent communication with client project contacts.
  • Collaborate on the creation of Expert reports.
  • Support the development of complex models to analyze economic and financial data utilizing spreadsheets and databases.
  • Perform technology-driven data analysis to uncover anomalies, relationships, or trends using advanced analytics and visualization tools.
  • Engage with clients at varying levels of complexity to convey data, findings, and recommendations while effectively managing their expectations.
  • Manage deadlines and priorities across multiple projects, collaborating and delegating tasks with team members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, nurturing strong internal and external relationships while upholding the confidentiality of client interactions and deliverables.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Professional background in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Familiarity with consulting services organizations.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics.
  • For senior candidates: experience in dispute consulting, business consulting, forensic accounting, or public accounting.
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality analysis with strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Technical proficiency in data analytics and data manipulation. Experience with SQL or other database management tools is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in key Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that ensure clarity and efficiency when interacting with diverse audiences and simplifying complex subjects.
  • Preferred designations include CPA, CBV, CFE, or CFI.
