We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Department Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services - CFMWS. As a key member of our retail services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences for our members of the Canadian Armed Forces and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement effective retail services strategies to meet customer needs and exceed expectations
- Supervise and train employees to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality retail services
- Manage inventory, merchandise, and supplies to ensure optimal stock levels and customer satisfaction
- Operate Point of Sales systems, manage cash handling, and maintain a float
- Provide a variety of retail services, including dry cleaning, lottery services, self-serve gas services, and postal services
- Prepare and serve food and beverages, ensuring cleanliness of food service and eating areas
- Acceptable combination of education, training, and experience in visual merchandising, cash handling, personnel administration, and food and beverage preparation and service
- Food Handling Certification, as required
- Strong client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership skills
- English language proficiency (reading, writing, and oral communication)
