About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Matrix Metal Inc. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of metal fabrication and welding services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution: Interpret welding process specifications and execute them accurately to meet customer requirements.
  • Metal Fabrication: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Quality Control: Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity.
  • Standing and Walking: Stand for extended periods and walk to move around the fabrication area.
  • Physical Demands: Perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in metal fabrication and welding.
